(un)walling gardens of double-sided mirror

projects project, and collections of projects project collections of projections

so where lie the lines of collaboration, co-operation, co-unity?

if “mm” were a double-sided mirror, then co”mm”unity (as a co-unity confined to its own likeness) plays closed, albeit with a passing semblance of remaining open

conversely, if “mm” were not a double-sided mirror, then what would we be able to see? and would we be able to sport the difference, if all we had (re)cognised up until that moment had been but that very same passing (re)semblance

transparency is not a double-sided mirror, and transparent walls are not unwalls: projects project projections; in, through, and of (a)way

anonymity harbours safe passage, for the time being at least

with pidgeons (re)minding the gap, as ever

underground, overground, wombling free

what becomes of materiality

when time is not the issue,

save for that cup of human kindness

that light rocks gently and half full ?

some stone akin to all that glitters

– in crucible at source –

forge feeding on our pidgeons’ calling

darwin derived avatar

courtesy of wikipedia, accessed today:

this is fig. 19 (english carrier) from variation of animals and plants under domestication by charles darwin (1809-1882)

this image is in the public domain as its copyright has expired

and so what of its prospects for continuing an evolution

from here to here to here … to hear ?

is it the image that evolves, or the embodying of that said image

till no trace remains of the original, save its source, and its grace perhaps

from plagiarism to (un)plagerism to plague-rism anon:

an exquisite corpse in the making;

an eNglish carrier of our very own

in aporia whilst spelling pidgeon

aporia pidgeon introduction

aporia pidgeon is “being spelled” as a cross between pidgin and pigeon

“being spelled” may refer to how a word is spelled out by the letters used to comprise that word for the purposes of reading the word as just that word

“being spelled” may also refer to how a word, thus spelled, may become meaningful over a period of time as a possible name for the purposes of calling that wording by just that name

“being spelled” may happen over time and space and, in particular, through ordinary usage

for example, we might ask how the spelling of aporia pidgeon may become ordinarily used as a tag

or, we might ask how the spelling of aporia pidgeon may ordinarily become used as a brand

or, we might even ask how the (mis)spelling of an ordinary pidgeon may have possibly have come about through aporia

be this by way of on-line, off-line, or simple ordinary (mis)alignment, one thing is for certain

a pidgeon in aporia was here: here; here; and here, though not all (t)here … yet

where has aporia pidgeon come from?

aporia is a pathfinding vehicle for social enterprise

aporia is a member of the emerge community at http://emerge.elgg.org/aporia

it is not possible to post comments in relation to aporia as part of the emerge community website without being logged on as a member of the emerge community and, at this stage, membership of the emerge community is closed

however, aporia has also been emerging as a community itself, with members – and potential members – who are effectively not regarded as members of the immediate emerge community

therefore, aporia pidgeon is here to open up the dialogue between aporia community members who are not members of the emerge community, but who may wish to be able to post comments on the issues being raised

in addition, emerge community members are also free to access aporia pidgeon and post comments either here or via the emerge community website

importantly, emerge community members may employ aporia pidgeon as a go-between in order to help anonymise their comments to be fed back indirectly to the emerge community

these emerge community members may not otherwise feel that they have the expressive privacy required in order to voice such potential concerns

or indeed, aporia pidgeon may be employed in other ways that are themselves emergent

in this sense, aporia is cultivating a research through social enterprise approach, and aporia pidgeon is but one carrier of this research (if not quite as a research career)

so welcome to the grass roots – and hope this helps !
